The stazzo/country house "Lu Carraggioni" is located in the municipality of Luogosanto, about 6 kilometres from the village.
It is situated at an altitude of about 500 metres amidst cork and holm oak woods in an unspoilt natural setting.
The village of Luogosanto can look back on over a hundred years of history, it is very characteristic with many traditional festivals, but has a very good infrastructure with all the essential services such as pharmacy, doctor, restaurants, bars, but without the typical tourist crowds of the seaside resorts.
The habitable main house of 116 m2 was built in the late 60s, so it is not an old original stazzo, but the shape has been respected.
It was completely renovated in 2010, renewing all installations, furnishings, the roof and the wooden floor. The result is a house with a large living room, a kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with all the comforts (gas heating, fireplace, etc.)
In 2021, it was further renovated thanks to government subsidies and now has a heat pump system (heating, air conditioning, hot water) that is largely powered by solar panels (6 KW) and a storage battery.
In a further step, a second bathroom was built and independent entrances created.
In less than half an hour, you can reach the marvelous beach of Vignola or the beaches of Palau or Santa Teresa.
Olbia, a city with a harbour and airport, can be reached in about 45 minutes, Tempio-Pausania in less than 30 minutes.
This central location makes the stazzo/country house, which is surrounded by nature, so interesting.
