Property description:
The Stazzo "Lu Carraggioni" is located in the municipality of Luogosanto, about 6 kilometres from the village.
It lies at an altitude of approx. 500 metres in the middle of cork and holm oak woods on 52 hectares.
The "Stazzo" has a rich forest vegetation, including about 700 "old" cork trees and about 7,000 that were planted as a result of reforestation carried out in the 1990s.
Inside we find a small pond fed by a spring, which in the past was used to irrigate the vegetable garden.
Luogosanto, a mountain village with a hundred years of history, very characteristic, with all the essential services such as pharmacy, doctor, restaurants, bars, but without the typical tourist crowds of the seaside resorts.
In less than half an hour's drive you can reach the marvellous beach of Vignola or the beaches of Palau or Santa Teresa.
Olbia, a city with a harbour and airport, can be reached in around 45 minutes. Tempio Pausania is less than 30 minutes away.
This 'centrality' is what makes the Stazzo, which is located in the middle of nature, so interesting, as many places are so easy to reach.
The habitable main house was built in the late 1960s, so it is not an old stazzo.
It was completely renovated in 2010, renewing all installations, furnishings, the roof and the wooden floor. The result is a house with a large living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with all comforts (gas heating, fireplace, etc.)
In 2021, it was further renovated thanks to government subsidies and now has a heat pump system (heating, air conditioning, hot water) that is largely powered by solar panels (6 Kw) and a storage battery.
In a further step, a second bathroom was built and independent entrances created.
Near the house there are a number of artefacts: an old stable that was used as a shelter for the tractor and other agricultural equipment, a relatively new stable that was also used as a barn in the past, a pigsty and a grotto
All artefacts are in good condition and can be used for various purposes. There is also electricity and water in the stables.
